Coast to Coast: 60 Years of Poetry Northwest (AWP)

Come celebrate 60 years of Poetry Northwest with friends from BOA Editions and the University of British Columbia MFA program.

Held at the women-owned-and-operated Nightwood Society, enjoy a true Pacific Northwest dinner cooked up by chef Sarah Schneider, including cured steelhead on poppy seed lavash, house-made sausage “pig in a blanket” with fennel mostarda, a salad of roasted radishes and spring peas, and leg of lamb. Wine and dessert, too! (Vegetarians, take heart: chef Sarah will have you more than covered.)

Appearances by special guests will include Ellen Bass, Geffrey Davis, Erika Meitner, Keetje Kuipers, Leila Chatti, Alix Ohlin, Nancy Lee, and David Hernandez, along with Ed Skoog’s bluegrass band The Hill Williams. Expedition Press will commemorate the evening with letterpress swag for each guest to take home.
